Ongoing Bookworms Professional Learning Workshops
Keep your learning going all year long with these offerings!
Leadership Cohort
The leadership cohort invites nationwide Bookworms administrators, coaches, and specialists to grow their understanding and application of standards and instructional routines in order to implement with integrity. A BW expert will offer monthly 1:1 and small group coaching throughout the day and whole group facilitation of PL topics such as
- Understanding the science of reading in BW
- Observing and delivering actionable feedback to BW teachers,
- Incorporating standards-based grading and reporting of student progress
- Creating a community of literacy champions with families and external partners,
- …and more, based on the needs and interests of the cohort.
There are two cohorts – one for leaders new to Bookworms and one for Experienced Bookworms Leaders.
