Larry Singer

Chief Executive Officer

Larry has nearly forty years of experience as a senior executive in the public, private, academic, and nonprofit sectors. In addition, Larry has held management and leadership positions in information technology, public policy, corporate strategy, engineering, sales, marketing, business development, and consulting, and was the first State CIO and Executive Director of the Georgia Technology Authority.

Larry’s years working in and with the public sector, especially his time in education brought into stark relief the challenges for our nation’s poor and disadvantaged. He has worked in social services to help usher in the age of welfare reform; most recently, he has been inspired to address the dearth of high-quality instructional materials, despite the $5 billion districts spend annually on K-12 curricula. He brings his corporate, academic, and government experience to the nonprofit world to transform the educational content market.

A graduate of the University of Redlands, Larry completed the Senior Executive Fellows public policy program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, after which he was appointed and employed as a Research Fellow.

He lives with his wife and the youngest of their five children in White Salmon, Washington.
