Dr. Holli Fears

Director of Quality & Alignment, ELA & Literacy

Holli is a veteran educator bringing more than thirteen years of educational experience to Open Up Resources. Holli comes with experience as a classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in general education and special education classrooms, as well as a Reading Coach and Curriculum Coordinator within a school district before moving into leadership with the Florida Department of Education Office of Differentiated Accountability. Most recently, Holli served as an Executive Director with Duval County Public Schools first in the Duval Transformation Office and then in the Office of Curriculum and Instruction overseeing all things literacy for grades Kindergarten through fifth. Earning her degrees from the University of West Florida, Holli holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary and Special Education, Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
